About J. Ann, LCSW

Hello! Welcome to the first step in positive change! I commend you for being brave in addressing some of your concerns and further looking into Therapy!

Have a seat and let's chat...I'm devoted  in helping others and being a listening ear. Given that, I decided to expand my guidance in making this page and sharing my practice through blogging and communication with others. I welcome you to share your thoughts and feelings on topics within the Mental Health forum.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with background work in a hospital setting, working children, adolescences and adults, trauma victims, PTSD clientele, emotionally disturbed individuals with anxiety, depression and a variety of different moods. I am driven in helping on reconnect with self and gain self-discovering ways to remain balanced. My Private Practice is located in Mission Valley, CA and I'm currently taking self-pay patients

Life is beautiful; but it can take some unexpected turns. Whether you address the obstacles when it's presented or avoid it by suppressing it, conflict is normal for everyone to experience. We experience internal conflict within ourselves and external conflict from our environment. By processing conflicting feelings and adapting to constant change in our environment, we develop new ways to connect to our inner self and our loved ones while building on our new asylum. It's important to receive support in a healing, restorative environment.
